باسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله

Firstly, may Allaah guide us all and rectify our intentions.

Brothers Ive been a Muslim for at least four years, and have been studying Arabic for almost 3 and a half, on and off, but always maintaining what i have generally learned. I intend to start studying the deen, and to be able to go onto being prolific in as many of the sciences as possible, for my intention is to be able to teach the Muslims (esp in the West) these sciences as to rectify their affairs, as I see there is much juhl in their affairs, many times resulting from their abandonment.

I have interest in:
Uloom ulHadith,(and have read brief essay on it too)
Uloom ulFiqh
Uloom ulQuran

I was studying AlAajurumiyah and was also going through al-uddah sharhul umdah, both with teachers. I am currently memorising the Quran

I wish to go abroad and study again, but until that is possible, i would like to do whatever i can to become familiar with these subjects, as well as learning anything else that is upon me. In my local area people of Knowledge are quite few, or at most times very busy so as not to be able to go throgh these subjects intensely.

Thank you for your time reading this, i await any feedback.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Alhamduallah that you have the intention and the will to seek knowledge. smile

I can say that nowadays it is easier to seek knowledge due to the various means which you can benefit from i.e. internet, media and books.

As you are in the west as I presumed then you may consider either:

enrolling yourself in one of the online universities like: American open university: http://www.open-university.edu/ (http://www.open-university.edu/)

or benefit from the live lectures given either on internet : www.liveislam.com (http://www.liveislam.com) or www.islamway.com (http://www.islamway.com) or on satellite channels as the one Al-Majd channel have.

Or you can simply travel if you are in shortage of such means and you prefer in person teaching, which is the best. smile like : Islamic University in Madina where you can apply to by visiting their website at: http://www.iu.edu.sa (http://www.iu.edu.saLinkID=11) and to apply: http://www.iu.edu.sa/kobol/iu/appnonsaudi.aspx (http://www.iu.edu.sa/kobol/iu/appnonsaudi.aspx) and here for scholarships: http://www.iu.edu.sa/iu/Iindex.aspx (http://www.iu.edu.sa/iu/Iindex.aspx)

wallahu A'lam
