Al Salamu Alaikum brothers

I wanted to ask what you knew about these two websites

I personally have used them briefly and found them very beneficial, but wanted to know if anyone has any criticism about them

The first is: http://www.harunyahya.com

I read some of the books and watched some of the movies he has in refuting atheism and darwinism, and found it very beneficial and well-written

I also saw one of the movies he has on the perished nations, and found it very nicely done

I contacted the people in the website previously about using one of their movies in a Da'wah event, and they [May Allah reward them] sent a movie free of charge

The second is: http://www.allaahuakbar.net

This website has several articles refuting several deviant sects that I read and found very beneficial

However, I did not get a chance to have a more thorough look and to check everything they have

So anyone that knows anything contrary to what I mentioned let me know

Your loving brother

over all, he is good. smile

in reagrds the other website i browsed it before and it was fine but do not take my word because i did not browse everything in it. smile

[Al-Kitaab & as-Sunnah] The writings of Harun Yahya

Assalaamu 'alaikom,

"All events and objects that we encounter in real life-buildings, people, cities, cars, places-in fact, everything we see, hold, touch, smell, taste and hear-come into existence as visions and feelings in our brains".

This is from a book by Harun Yahya, Matter: The Other Name For Illusion (http://www.harunyahya.com/matter.php)

He even has a book about the movie 'The Matrix' where he claims he and his books were the inspiration behind the film (the film portrays life as an illusion and that we are all living in computer program!). (http://www.harunyahya.com/matrix.php)

Here are some quotes from a chapter called 'the real essence of matter' from his book Evolution Deceit (http://www.harunyahya.com/evolutiondeceit18.php). He starts off by mocking those who believe Allah to be above His Throne and the creation:

"The basic mistake of those who deny God is shared by many people who in fact do not really deny the existence of God but have a wrong perception of Him. They do not deny creation, but have superstitious beliefs about "where" God is. Most of them think that God is up in the "sky". They tacitly imagine that God is behind a very distant planet and interferes with "worldly affairs" once in a while. Or perhaps that He does not intervene at all: He created the universe and then left it to itself and people are left to determine their fates for themselves.

Still others have heard that in the Qur'an it is written that God is "everywhere" but they cannot perceive what this exactly means. They tacitly think that God surrounds everything like radio waves or like an invisible, intangible gas."

Then he goes on to conclude:

"However, as we have considered so far, matter is composed only of sensations. And the only real absolute being is God. That means that it is only God that exists: everything except Him are shadow beings. Consequently, it is impossible to conceive God as a separate being outside this whole mass of matter. God is surely everywhere and encompasses all"

He goes on to try and prove that everything is an illusion and that matter doesnt really exist:

"This is why some people unwittingly make fools of themselves when they boast of their wealth and properties or of their "yachts, helicopters, factories, holdings, manors and lands" as if they ever really existed"

"At this stage, one point should be well grasped: it is not said here that the fact you face predicates that all the possessions, wealth, children, spouses, friends, rank you have with which you are being stingy will vanish sooner or later, and therefore they do not have any meaning. It is rather said that all the possessions you seem to have in fact do not exist at all, but they are merely a dream"

What is strange about though is that he then writes some clarification called 'The Secret Beyond Matter is Not Wahdatal Wujood', even though as quoted above hes promoting such beliefs.

Below is some more material from Abu Rumaysah:

Exposing Haarun Yahyaa

By Br. Abu Rumaisah

Assalaamualaykum warahmathullahi wabarakaathu

Dearest brothers and sisters the following is written as a clarification of the path of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah. It is not a personal attack on the named individual, rather an attack on the belief and methodology professed in his works.

If you disagree then please bring your proof with Authentic Explanation. and email it to comments@....

The main reason for this series of postings is to steer our brothers and sisters clear of the works of someone who is gaining popularity throughout the world in many languages.

His Belief in Wahdatul Wujood

Firstly we will just define the term to those who are unaware of it;

Wahdatul–Wujood means linguistically:

"What ever is existing in the entire universe, it has no existence, what ever exists than it is none other than Allaah."

This means that everything that is visible to the naked eye is nothing but Allaah; there is no distinction between the creator and the creation. The example that can be found regarding Wahdatul–Wujood is:

"The example of Wahdatul–Wujood is like an ocean, and the bubbles are the human beings and all other things that exist, so the example of Allaah is like the ocean and the example of the creation is the example of the bubbles."

It is obvious and apparent that bubbles are a part of the ocean and it is also regarded as water. So from the above examples the Sufis abolish the belief that there is a distinction between the Creator and the creation. They have innovated the concept of Wahdatul–Wujood, a concept that is neither established from the Qur’aan, the Sunnah, the Companions (radi–Allaahu ‘anhum ajma’een), the Taabi’een, those who came after the Taabi’een, nor from any of the Imaams of Sunnah.

It must also be noticed that to adhere to such a belief obliges the human being to believe in the concept of Hulool: being attributed to Allaah with His creation. (We seek refuge from Allaah from such a heretical, filthy and evil belief).

So O dear Muslim you have come to know that the Sufis belief in the concept of Wahdatul–Wujood necessitates the concept of Hulool, which is for Allaah to indwell into all things and to be part of them, and this is a belief that has been innovated by them and we seek refuge from Allaah!

What follows is proof that Haarun Yahya is upon this false belief and that he dares to Mock Ahlus Sunnah, and then to finish off, we have a series of quotes from the Imaam’s of the sunnah reinforcing the CORRECT belief.

Haarun Yahya says about the following verse (Quotes in red):

"...some people have no genuine understanding of God and so they imagine Him as a being present somewhere in the heavens and not really intervening in worldly affairs. The basis of this logic actually lies in the thought that the universe is an assembly of matter and God is "outside" this material world, in a far away place. In some false religions, belief in God is limited to this understanding." [Evolution Deciet sixt edit Page 223]

'God is surely "everywhere" and encompasses all.'[Evolution Deciet sixth edit Page 223]

What is said above is something that needs clarifying and looking into as many Muslims especially those who have deviated ideas like the author in question will start to cry out. Hence we will suffice in just presenting the proof and then let it be upon the reader to decide.

The belief that Allaah is preasent in the heavens is according to Haaroon Yahya; part of a false religion "In some false religions, belief in Allah is limited to this understanding."

So my dear brothers and sisters ask your self what religion is Harron Yahya following?? Read the following then I ask you to ask yourselves are we the people upon a FALSE RELIGION?

Mu'aawiyah ibn al-Hakam said:

"I had a slave-girl who tended sheep for me in the direction of Uhud and Al-Jawaaniyaah and I came one day and found that a wolf had taken one of the sheep, and I am a man from the children of Aadam, I became angry as they do, but I hit her very hard. So I came to the Prophet sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam and he made me aware of the seriousness of that, so I said: O Messenger of Allaah, shall I free her? He said: Bring her. So I brought her and he said to her: Where is Allaah? She said: 'Above the sky.' He said: Who am I? She said: 'You are Allaah's Messenger.' He said: Free her for she is a Believer." [SAHEEH MUSLIM]

(i) The hadeeth establishes the unequivocal validity of asking the question: 'Where is Allaah?'

(ii) The only acceptable answer from a Believer to the question 'Where is Allaah?' is to say 'Is (above) the heaven' since the Prophet sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam himself accepted this answer and did not criticise it in any way. To give an answer other than this would be to venture into the realms of speculation.

Aboo Mutee' al-Hakam ibn 'Abdullah al-Balkee said:

"I asked Aboo Haneefah about the one who says: 'I do not know whether my Lord is in the sky or the earth.'" So he said: 'He is a kaafir, for Allaah, the Most High, says: and His Throne is above the heavens.' So I said: "If he says: 'I say that He ascended above the Throne but I do not know whether the Throne is in the heavens or the earth.'" He said: 'If he denies that He is above the sky then he is a kaafir.' (Sharh 'Aqeedah at-Tahaweeyah p.288 of ibn Abil-'Izz al-Hanafee, and Mukhtasar al-'Uluww no.118 of adh-Dhahabee)

And there is no doubt what Harun Yahya is spreading is complete kufr that is enough to take anyone who says it out of Islam, but we leave making takfeer upon others for the people of knowledge (the Scholars), however we ask the muslims who read his books to ask themselves whether they are going to help promote Kufr by buying his books??

As Allaah said:

"help one another to birr and taqwa and do not help one another to ithm and udwaan"

Does advising from or selling or promoting his books make you part of this. Also our Prophet sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam said:

"Whoever sees an evil then let him change it with his hand, if you cannot then with tongue, if you cannot then with the heart, that's the weakest of eemaan."

Why did Imaam Aboo Haneefah (rahimahullah) impute with Kufr one who does not know whether Allaah is in the heavens or on earth?

Ibn Abil-'Izz writes:

"Do not pay any attention to those who reject this narration from those who ascribe themselves to the Madhhab of Aboo Haneefah, for a group of the Mu'tazilah and other than them attribute themselves to him but differ with him in a large number of his beliefs. And those who oppose some of the beliefs of Maalik, ash-Shaafi'ee and Ahmad also attribute themselves to them. And the story of Aboo Yusuf asking Bishr al-Mareesee to repent when he denied that Allaah is above His Throne is well known, reported by 'Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Abee Haatim and others." (Sharh 'Aqeedah at-Tahaawiyyah, p.288)

Allaah, the Most High, says:

"Behold! Allaah said: O 'Eesa, I will take you and raise you up to Myself." (Soorah Aali-'Imraan 3:55)

"They fear their Lord who is above (fawq) them." (Soorah an-Nahl 16:50)

The Messenger of Allaah sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam said:

"Do you not trust me and I am the trustworthy servant of Him Who is above the sky. The news of heaven comes to me in the morning and the evening." [al-Bukhaaree and Muslim from Aboo Sa'eed al-Khudree]

The Prophet sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam also said:

"Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most High. Have mercy upon those on the earth, then He who is in the sky will have mercy upon you." [Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, al-Bukhaaree in at-Tareekh al-Kabeer, al-Haakim who authenticated it and adh-Dhahabee agreed. At-Tirmidhee, graded it as hasan saheeh in his Sunan]

Also the lengthy hadeeth in which the Prophet sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam describes the journey of the righteous soul through the heavens after death:

"…thereafter it is taken up to the sky which is then opened for it. It is said: 'Who is this?' So (the Angel) says: 'It is so and so.' It is said: 'Welcome to the blessed soul,' and it does not cease to be referred to as this until it reaches the heaven in (above) which is Allaah, the Most High." [Ahmad, as well as al-Haakim who declared it to be authentic to the standard of al-Bukhaaree and Muslim]

Imaam Maalik said:

"Allaah is above the sky and His Knowledge is in every place, not being absent from anything." [Aboo Dawood in al-Masaa'il p.263, al-Aajuree in ash-Sharee'ah p.289, and others]

Imaam ash-Shaafi'ee said:

"The saying which I hold regarding the Sunnah and which I found those whom I have seen holding such as Sufyaan, Maalik and others, is affirmation of the testification that none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah, that Allaah is above His Throne over His heaven, He draws near to His creation as He wishes and descends to the lowest heaven as He wishes..." [Mukhtasar al-'Uluww no.118 of adh-Dhahabee from Abu Thawr and Abu Shu'aib, both reporting from ash-Shaafi'ee]

Imaam al-Awzaa'ee (d.157H) said:

"We, whilst the students of the Successors were many, would say that indeed Allaah, the Most Perfect, is above His Throne and we believe in what is related in the Sunnah about the Attributes." [al-Baihaaqee in al-Asmaa was-Sifaat (p.408). Ibn Hajar graded its isnaad as being jayyid in Fath al-Baaree 13/406]

Shaykh ul-Islaam Abdullaah ibn al-Mubaarak (d.181H) said:

"He is above the seventh heaven above His Throne and we do not say as the Jahmiyyah say: 'He is here on the earth'." [Khalq Af'aalul-'Ibaad no.13 of al-Bukhaaree, ar-Radd 'alal Mareesee pp.24, 103 and ar-Radd 'alal-Jahmiyyah p.50 of ad-Daarimee and 'Abdullaah ibn Ahmad in as-Sunnah pp.7, 25, 35 and 72]

Assalamu Alaikum.

Brothers Mahmoud and Ayman, I would advise you both NEVER to use that awful site. Brother nasirmuzaffar is right. Harun Yahya has severe problems in creed.

He has a book on his site called "The Little Man in the Tower". When I first came across this book, I was like "What little man in what tower??". Here's what the book talks about:

"What kind of world do you live in?

A world of solid ground with people and trees, oceans with clouds above it and, higher still, the enormous emptiness of space?

Are you one of the billions of people in that world?

If you answer "yes" to those questions, then you are mistaken!

If you were able to answer "yes" to them, then that means that throughout the course of your life you have probably ignored a most important truth.

The fact is, you do not live in the kind of world described above at all. In your world, there is no distance of even a few meters, let alone of billions of kilometers or galaxies light years away. Actually you live in a very small enclosed space-in a tiny, locked room at the top of a giant tower. You have never left that room. You have never stepped outside it or been anywhere else. All you have seen are different shapes, people and spaces reflected on the walls of that room. You have heard only the sounds emitted from loudspeakers concealed in there. In fact, in that little room at the top of the tower, there is nobody else but you. You are entirely alone!

The "tower" we are speaking of is your body, and the little room atop it (in other words, your world) is your brain.

Your brain is a locked room which you can never step out of, because everything you imagine to be the "outside world" in reality consists of perceptions you experience in the visual or hearing centers of your brain. You can never get past those perceptions and experience directly what we refer to as "real matter"-if such a thing even exists. You can watch the electrical signals arriving at the brain's visual center, but you can never see those signals' true source. You literally watch the cinema screen on the walls of your "room," but can never directly experience the originals of those images.

We shall be setting out that truth in this book. What we explain here will, in all likelihood, contradict a great many ideas and concepts that you've become familiar with so far. Yet it is a concrete fact based on scientific proof. Therefore, it's impossible to reject this truth when one thinks about it in a reasoned and logical manner, instead of sticking to familiar preconceptions.

Never forget that ignoring the truth or refusing to think about it gains a person nothing. If anyone says, "No, I live on a planet in an enormous universe, not in a closed room," then he needs to prove the fact. If he cannot do so, then blind belief in any such idea will only lead to his remaining deceived."

And yes, he thinks that the Matrix (that awful movie) is a good example. I saw that mentioned by him on his own site.

Also, be very careful about his Darwinisn refutations. I remember Dr. Bilal Philips telling me that this is when his concept of wahdatal wujood sticks out.

Brothers and sisters, I think there are a lot of good sites on the Internet therefore we do NOT need Harun Yahya's site. Why would anyone want to put their aqeedah at risk? I know people who have gotten deviated by this man's beliefs.

PS. Ugh...I just came across more of his dodgy beliefs in his book "The End Times and The Mahdi". May Allah guide us and him.

Prophet Sulayman (as) communicated with birds

Allah taught Prophet Sulayman (as) the language of birds, and he used this knowledge to form orderly ranks of birds (Surat an-Naml:17). He communicated with birds and ruled them as he saw fit. This situation occurred as a result of Allah's favor on Sulayman (as).

(Sulayman said O mankind, we have been taught the speech of birds and have been given everything. This is indeed clear favor. (Surat an-Naml: 16)

We can derive important conclusions from this account:

- Birds have a special way of communicating with each other on a frequency beyond the range of human hearing. Prophet Sulayman (as) was given a special skill that allowed him to understand this language. This might have happened through a technological innovation.

- Using this skill, he gave orders to the birds so they might fulfill his wishes (Allah knows best).

- He sometimes used birds to send news and collect intelligence. This method was very successful. His knowledge made it easier for him to communicate with other countries, and effectively brought distant lands within his reach (Allah knows best).

- This verse might be drawing our attention to technological advances that will be used in the End Times. Perhaps it is not speaking of birds, but rather of unmanned aircraft in use today.

- It migh have been that he placed transmitters on the birds to gather intelligence about his enemies. This way he might have obtained both audio and visual records, which he used to rule his nation.

- He also had great control over jinns and satans. As the Qur'an states, Allah said, 'And some of the jinns worked in front of him by his Lord's permission' (Surah Saba, 12) and 'And some of the satans dived for him and did other things apart from that. And We were watching over them' (Surah al-Anbiya'). If we think about this aspect, birds might symbolize an army of jinns.

- Another possibility is that the birds are led by jinns. Prophet Sulayman (as) might have commanded birds to perform certain tasks through using jinns.

- Allah made the Qur'an humanity's holy book until Doomsday. Thus, incidents similar to those related about Prophet Sulayman might occur in the End Times. These verses might signal to us that during this time Allah might place satans and jinns at humanity's beck and call, or that humanity will use and benefit greatly from advanced technology at that time. (Allah knows best).

Sulayman (as) communicates with a female ant

(Sulayman) smiled, laughing at its words, and said: 'My Lord, keep me thankful for the blessing You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and keep me acting rightly, pleasing You, and admit me, by Your mercy, among Your servants who are righteous.' (Surat an-Naml: 19)

- Prophet Sulayman (as) could hear the speech of ants, and this may be pointing to the existence of advanced computer technology in the end times.

- Today, California's Silicon Valley is known as the capital of the technological world. It is very curious that the account of Prophet Sulayman (as) speaks of the Ant Valley. Allah might be pointing to an advanced technology that will appear in the End Times.

- Moreover, ants and other insects are used extensively in high technology. Robot projects developed by studying these creatures closely have advanced a number of fields, including technology and the defense industry. The verse might be pointing to this fact as well.

Both sites are not that good. Harun Yahya is problematic for all the reasons people cited above. As for the second website you cited, Allaahuakbar.net, their arguments are oftentimes simplistic and childish. I have been debating with Shias for a couple years now, and I know that the Allaahuakbar.net arguments are very weak and easily refuted by the shias. Their approach is all wrong. They simplify things and sensationalize as well.

To refute sects, one must be very precise and careful.

The Evil within the book of HARUN YAHYA - Abu Jibreen

Whatever the case with Harun Yahya - whether he takes hadith into Aqeedah or not so far i have not seen any firm daleel only rumours and muttering of brothers .

Regardless, there are serious mistakes in his book EVOLUTION deceit which highlights the path he treads and his understanding of TAUHEED, the creation etc..The chapter which carries this evil I have seen is the one entitled "The Real Essence of matter". Just a note i am not classifying this brother as an innovator (Mubtady) per se, or declaring him a Kafir, deviant etc. This is for the scholars of islaam and those endowed with the blessings of Knowledge. I am just here to highlight some of the errors.

Harun Yahya introduces to the reader to "WHERE IS GOD" (page: 175)

"The basic mistake of those who deny God is shared by many people who in fact do not really deny the existence of God but have a wrong perception of Him. They do not deny creation, but have superstitious beliefs about "where" God is. Most of them think that God is up in the "sky". They tacitly imagine that God is behind a very distant planet and interferes with "worldly affairs" once in a while. Or perhaps that He does not intervene at all: He created the universe and then left it to itself and people are left to determine their fates for themselves. Still others have heard that in the Qur'an it is written that God is everywhere" but they cannot perceive what this exactly means. They tacitly think that God surrounds everything like radio waves or like an invisible, intangible gas. However, this notion and other beliefs that are unable to make clear "where" God is (and maybe deny Him because of that) are all based on a common mistake. They hold a prejudice without any grounds and then are moved to wrong opinions of God. What is this prejudice?"

Then he breaks into his Kalaam (rhetoric philosophy), some relevant extracts are below:

page 189 (3/4 way down) he writes

"Consequently it is impossible to conceive Allah as a separate being outside this whole mass of matter (i.e the world) Allah is surely "everywhere" and encompasses all.

This is clearly the Kallam of the Sufiya, more specifically the concept of Wahdatul-Wajud. (The unity of existence i.e that the Creation and the Creator are inseperable)

For surely is Allah is above the heavens over his throne (alal-Arsh).

And Allah(Swt) is seperate from his creation. And this is the understanding of Ahlus-Sunnah.

Again he Harun Yahya writes on page 190 - Allah (swt) is "Infinately close" to them with the verse:

"When my servants ask you concerning me, I am indeed close to them". (Baqarah: 186) He quotes further: (Surah Al-Isra, 60), (al-Waqia 83-85)

These verses deal with the Closeness of Allah to man during states such as death e.g.

".. Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat , and you at the time look on, We are nearer to him than you, but you see not.." (Waqia -83-85)

In no place 'till now does Harun Yahya quote Ahlus-Sunnah's understanding that this means: " in Allah(swt) KNOWLEDGE.." and Sufyan ath-Thawree’s understanding:

Sufyaan ath-Thawree (one of the early salaf) was asked about the verse, "and He is with you whosesoever you are". He said, ‘These means in His Knowledge.’

Harun Yahya is slowly trying to break the reader into his DEVIANT understanding of Allah's presence..

He continues at the bottom of page 190

"On the other hand, it is impossible for man, who is nothing but a shadow being, to have power and will independent of Allah. The verse "But Allah has created you and your handiwork" (Safaat 96) shows

that everything takes place under Allah (swt) control"
THE CRUNCH...

He Harun comes to fruition with his DEVIANT understanding of TAWHEED

".. Whereby it is emphasised that no act is independant of Allah. Since a human is a shadow being, it cannot be itself which performs the act of throwing. However Allah gives the Shadow being the feeling of the self."

Compare this again with his Kalaam (top of page 190 )

"That is, we cannot perceive Allah's existence with our eyes, but Allah has thoroughly encompassed our inside, outside, looks and thoughts...."

The whole of this Chapter entitled "The real essence of Matter" deals with his philosophy. To sum up and give a general understanding to his whole chapter in one sentence could be :

"That there is no US, the WORLD is not REAL, Allah is REAL, so ALLAH is EVERYWHERE and WE ARE an ILLUSION"

again: page (193)

"As it may be seen clearly, it is a scientific and logical fact that the "external world has no materialistic reality and that it is a collection of images perpetually presented to our soul by God. Nevertheless, people usually do not include, or rather do not want to include, everything in the concept of the "external world".
What EVIL MUTTERINGS . ????

WHAT is this DISFIGUREMENT of TAWHEED (the call of the prophets and messengers ? )

This Kalaam (rhetoric) continues on for a whole chapter, and this is a HUGE deception since 90% of his books contain scientific, rational proofs, quotes from the scholars of (wordly science) etc..

then right at the end of the book he adds this Kalaam, understanding of Allah, his creation, and Tawheed of the EVIL SUFIES??

SO what is more harmful to islaam than the CURRUPTION OF TAWHEED itself.. A way to corrupt TAWHEED is by targeting its understanding. After we have established this EVIL mutterings, We shall affirm what the Salaf affirmed:

From Imaam al-Bukhaaree's, ‘Khalq Af’aal Ebaad’

[All the narrations are authentic according to the research done on this work by the great hadeeth scholar Badr al-Badr (RH), and are from the sahaabah or those who came soon after]:

"6) Wahb bin Jareer said, ‘The Jahmiyyah are heretics, they think that He has not risen over His Throne.’

13) Ibn al-Mubaarak said, ‘we do not say as the Jahmiyyah say that Allaah is on the earth, rather He has risen over His Throne.’

14) And it was said to him, ‘how should we know our Lord?’ He said, ‘above the Heavens, over/upon (‘alaa) His Throne’

29) Sufyaan ath-Thawree was asked about the verse, "and He is with you wheresoever you are". He said, ‘His Knowledge.’

And much can be written if a student of knowledge of scholar where to go through this...

Here's another sound article underlining the Sufi heretical understanding of Wahdatul Wujood which Harun Yahya subtly promotes in his books :

InshaAllaah, I have by the grace of Allaah been able to summarize the main evidences of the deviation of the book by Harun Yahya entitled “The Evolution Deceit: The scientific collapse of Darwinism and its ideological background”. InshaAllaah, the book that I specifically refer to is approximately 5.3 inches by 7.2-inches, it is a paperback book and a color version. THE front page has half a skull depicted on the left hand side and the tile of the book is in orange and white, with Harun Yahya’s name in orange at the bottom right hand side of the page. This version is often distributed free amongst many organizations. Like how I too received it Free, Indeed the first time I came across it was in such a manner, and I have to admit I did not read it and assumed it would be fine, InshaAllaah I will never make such a mistake again in the future, however when I did read it I was very impressed by the manner in which the theory of Evolution is refuted, and I never made it to the end chapter. However the deviation of Harun Yahya is not evident in the initial chapters of his book as his deviated ideology and concepts are contained in the final chapters, entitled “The Mystery of Matter” and “The Relativity of Time and the Reality of Fate”, pages 159 - 190.

InshaAllaah this book also has some summarized version that are also distributed for free sometimes but I do not know of the precise tile, And to the best of my knowledge the book I am speaking of is identical to the Harun Yahya book that can be purchased from his website. He uses very dodgy English translation to Confuse people in to thinking nothing in the world exists except Allaah, We are all his Shadows and Reflection, Audho billaah. He usually quotes Imaam Rabbaani & Ibn Arabi who was executed for his Heretical Beliefs; Harun Yahya’s tendency to use Kalaam in his arguments is not from the Manhaj or Aqeedah of any of the salaf.

InshaAllaah I will quote some of his deviated wordings and reference the page numbers from the book I have with me.

Page 160: Yahya writes:

“The Mystery of Matter”
“...Still others have heard that in the Qur’ân it is written that Allah is ‘everywhere’ but they cannot perceive what this exactly means. They tacitly think that Allaah surrounds everything like radio waves or like an invisible, intangible gas.

However, this notion and other beliefs that are unable to make clear ‘where Allah’ is (and maybe deny Him because of that) are all based on a common mistake. They hold a prejudice without any grounds an then are moved to wrong opinions of Allah…”

Clearly what Harun Yahya does here, as he does elsewhere, is to use a persons intellect in order to ponder about Allah in terms of where He is. We know as it is mentioned in various ahaadeeth and in the Qur’aan that Allaah is above the seven Heavens and arose over His Throne in a manner, which suits His Majesty. We therefore can make clear where Allaah is as we have the textual proofs from both the Qur’aan and Sunnah. Allaah says in the Noble Qur’aan words to the effect:

(Al-A’raf: 54) “Indeed your Lord is Allaah, Who created the heavens and the earth in 6 days, and then He rose over (istawaa) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty)…”

Harun Yahya is very subtle in spreading his dodgy beliefs, and in a very subtle manner prepares the reader for the rest of the falsehood he will propagate further in the Book mentally causing them to ponder over Allah in a manner that we have been prohibited from. The quote I give from Yahya’s book is only one of many examples that can be found in his book.

Harun Yahya further confuses the reader by making claims that the world does not exist, that it is a mere illusion, and that its all within our brains, that its all based on electrical signals. This is ajeeb to say the least but what this does is to confuse the reader and make them use their intellect before they use the Qur’aan and Sunnah, hence man’s intellect is made to be superior then the sources of Revelation. Clearly his manner of argument has not been seen with regards to the salaf-as-salih, they never and still do not use man’s flawed intellect and reasoning over the Haqq of the Qur’aan and authentic ahaadeeth.

Here are some more examples from Harun Yahya’s Book:

Page 163:

“ ‘The External World’ is Inside the Brain”

…Everything that we perceive as the “matter”, “world” or “universe” is nothing but electrical signals occurring in our brain…… Simply put, the fruit is nothing but the interpretation of electrical signals by the brain”

“…For instance, someone who watches the stars in the sky assumes that they are millions of light-years away from him. Yet what he “sees” are really the stars inside himself…”

“…. Distance, which is to say the distance between you and this book, is only a feeling of emptiness formed in your brain…”

“...While you read these lines, you are, in truth, not inside the room you assume you are in; on the contrary, the room is inside you…”

“….However, you must remember that your body, too, is an image formed inside your brain….”

Page 164:

“… The truth of the matter is rather all the qualities we ascribe to objects are inside us and in the ‘external world’…”

Page 165:

“… However since we can never actually reach the ‘external world’, how can we be sure that such a world really exists?

Actually we cannot….”

“…The only world we know of is the world that exists in our mind: the one hat is designed, recoded, and made vivid there; the one, in short, that is created within our mind. This is the only world we can be sure of…”

Page 166:

“…in reality, you have neither hand nor eye, nor is there anything that can be touched or seen. There is no material reality that makes these things happen except your brain. Your are simply being deceived…”

Page 167:

“…The book in your hand, the room you are in, in brief, all the images in front of you are seen inside your brain….”

Page 182:

“…there is no valid proof of the existence of a three- dimensional world…”

Page 190:

“…When spacelessness is comprehended, it will be understood that hell, heaven and earth are all actually at the same place…”

Harun Yahya continues to discuss his twisted interpretation of the individuals’ perception of the world in many more examples in the book however I don’t think it is necessary that write out all of his crap book in order to give you a few examples of his deviation.

In Sharh-us-Sunnah, Imaam al-Barbahaaree states, point number 23:

“To have faith that Paradise is true and real and that the Fire is true and real and that both are already created...” this one single sentence from the noble Imaam of ahlus-sunnah proves that the world is real and that it is not merely a big “illusion” or big “dream” and that we are living right now right here. Also it confirms that created things are not all connected in the manner in which Harun Yahya propagates, indeed we are free from the lies of the Soofies and are separate entities living independent lives and we know this because we will all be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection as individual beings, and indeed that day we will run from each other and be concerned with our own affairs.

Clearly, we have proofs that the world does exist in reality and is not within a human being; for example the hadeeth of the Israa and Mi’raaj clearly shows the present existence of Paradise and the Fire. (Saheeh al-Bukhaaree, English Translation vol. 5, no. 227; and Saheeh Muslim English translation vol. 1, no’s 309 –322).

InshahAllaah there are many more examples whereby the Muslims of Ahlus-Sunnah-wal-Ja’maah are required to believe in the existence of the creation as it is integral to our ‘aqeedah. For example we believe and confirm that the Qur’aan is the pure, flawless and uncreated speech of Allaah, we believe that the Messenger of Allaah sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam was the best of mankind, and so forth. I am sure that you yourself are aware of many more examples whereby we confirm that the world and all of our experiences, sightings etc are real and true. Clearly in Imaam Barbahaaree’s creed, point number 155, states “…Do not use analogy on anything”. Meaning opinion and analogy have no place in matters of creed.

Page 170, Yahya states:

“…Only Allah exists: everything except Him are shadow beings. Consequently, it is impossible to conceive Allah as a separate being outside this whole mass of mater. Allah is surely ‘everywhere’ and encompasses all…”

“...the fact that Allah is not bound with space and that He encompasses everything roundabout is stated in another verse as follows:

To Allah belong the east and west: Wheresoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-Pervading, all-Knowing. (Surat al-Baqara’115)…”

“…. No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision (Surat al-Anaam. 103)…

While we watch these sensory perceptions in the course of our lives, the closest being to us is not any one of these sensations, but Allah Himself…”

“…it is impossible for man who is nothing but a shadow being, to have a power and will independent of Allah…”

“…since a human being is a shadow being, it cannot be itself which performs that act of throwing. However, Allah gives this shadow being the feeling of the Self. In reality, it is Allah Who performs all acts…”

Page 179:

“…Proving that the whole world is in reality a ‘shadow being’, this subject is the key to comprehending the existence of and creation by Allah and of understanding that He is the only absolute being…”

Page 180:

“…this reality has been understood by a number of Atheists or philosophers throughout history. Islamic intellectuals such as Imaam Rabbani and Muhyyidin Ibn Arabi realized this fact from the signs of the Qur’an and by using their reason…”

“…Rabbani wrote in his Mektubat (Letters) that the whole material world universe is an ‘illusion and supposition (perception)’ and that the only absolute being is Allah……..there is nothing in the outside except the Glorious Being, (who is Allah)……..”

Page 181

“…Rabbani have written that it might have been inconvenient to tell this fact to the masses and that most people would not be able to grasp it…”

Page 190:

“…Allah is nearer to the man than his jugular vein (Surah Qaf, 16). As everybody knows, the jugular vein is inside the body. What could be near to a person then his inside….”

“…Allah sees and knows Allah with the five sense and with all other sense. Withersoever we turn there is the presence of Allah….”

SobhanAllaah Harun Yahya clearly puts forward his soofi ideas in this part of the book. He claims Allah is within people, that we are all Allaah, that Allaah is everywhere. istakfurAllaah wallaahu musta’aan.

Allaah is not everywhere. Indeed he is free from such a vile accusation. However we know that Allaah is everywhere in terms of His knowledge and not physically manifestation. Also Allah says in the Noble Qur’aan words to the effect:

(Al-Baqarah: 186) “When My slaves ask you concerning Me, (answer them), I am indeed near. I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me. So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.”

This shows us that Allaah is all-Knowing and all-Hearing and nothing escapes.

InshaAllaah brother there are many more examples that I am sure you know of from the Qur’aan and Sunnah that tells us of Allaah and how he is separate from His creation. SobhanAllaah.[...]

So Brothers in faith this is only from one of his many book I have quoted, I hope that we should take care in propagating his works as it not befitting that we should be propagating the deviations, innovations, falsehoods, lies and filth of soofies such as Harun Yahya. If we are indeed Muslim then we should not hesitate to get rid of his Books of deviation, which clearly could lead innocent Muslim people astray and Allaah’s refuge, is sought.

If you need anymore information from us please feel free to email us and ask of it.

Also please forgive me for having made any mistakes for they are indeed from the accursed shaytaan. And take this as a small and humble attempt from your Brother in Islaam to help to propagate the truth and try and preserve al-Islaam from the corruption of the innovator and deviated groups, parties and individuals. I make du’a that we all die upon the truth and upon the sound Aqeedah and Manhaj of the saved sect. May Allaah reward us all for our efforts with the best of Rewards.

And may we aim our efforts towards the goal of seeking the face of Allah.

Wassalaam ‘alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakaatohu

Remember that our beloved Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam stated "I have left you upon clear proof, its night is like its day, no one deviates except that he is destroyed, and whoever amongst you lives for long will see great controversy. So stick to that which you know of my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, cling to that with your molar teeth" [Reported by Ahmad (4/126); Ibn Maajah (no 43); al-Haakim (1/96), from al-Irbaad ibn Saariyah - declared saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah (no 937)]

And I pray to Allaah to give us the right knowledge and Guide us and Grant the Ummah to loving the truth and its people. {Aameen}

Wassalaamualaykum,

Abu Ubaydullah Anwar

I’m aware of Harun’s aqeedah issues, but his stuff against atheism are very useful. I didn’t see how his beliefs were reflected in his refutations against Darwin. I read the majority of his works on this topic.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a proper Ahlus Sunnah website that deals with atheism. That is why every time someone asks me to refer them to a site, I either have to refer them to Harun Yahya and warn them, or to some Christian sites, which is worse.

I have done extensive research on atheism and would be creating a section on my site www.call-to-monotheism.com in the future for it inshallah. It’s just that I have been too busy refuting the missionaries, work, studies, etc. I have all the research material ready, I just have to type them out and put them into proper article format.

But once I create it, we can make that the link to visit inshallah.
