Salaam Alaykum

I saw a video on being dutiful to parents. In it Sheikh Muhammad Hassan's mother mentions that he has an evil disease. Is it true???
May Allah heal the sheikh.... Allahumma amin.

I have not heard so but I will ask some of the brothers who attend his classes and lectures. They might have an answer.

Hmm but if his mother said so then he is as she said. are you sure you heard it correctly? because it might be an Egyptian expression. share with us the clip and let's see it both ways please ( may Allah reward you).

Jazaka Allah khairan for caring about the sheikh, but there is no such thing in the video about Ber al-Walidayn, nor in the complete version of conversation between the sheikh and his mother. I have both in a very high quality format on my computer.

the clip you have posted is about being dutiful to parents as you said ( smile)

Brother Moumen,

Jazak Allah khier, what you said is true as well, the clip brother Musa posted translated the words wrongly.

the shaikh's mother said " may Allah protect you from sickness" and it has been wrongly translated as "May Allah remove the evil of disease from you"

Alhamdullah and may Allah protect all the Mashaykh.

Our Shyookh Ayman and Moumen, and our dear brother Musa in one thread.

Let me take this opportunity to wish you all a Eid Mubarak, May Allah accept all your good deeds, and May He have written you from his 'Utaqa during this month.

Now, as for Shaykh Muhammad Hasan [May Allah preserve him], I asked my brother about this and he mentions that yes Shaykh Muhammad was sick some time back. He says that he is unsure about his illness, but some mention that he did have heart surgery [he is unsure of this though].

He mentioned to me that in some lecture he listened to, Shaykh Muhammad said that he had a weak heart (although I took it metaphorically).

Now he says that In Sha Allah, Shaykh Muhammad is in better condition, and here is a video that shows his return after his absence (the video also includes Shaykh Abu Ammar Mahmoud Al-Masri May Allah preserve him]:

To sum up In Sha Allah: Shaykh Muhammad Hasan [May Allah preserve him and make him among his sincere callers to Him] was sick and is now in better condition Al-Hamdullah. As for the sort of illness there is nothing sure.

I ask Allah to cure Shaykh Muhammad Hasan if he was sick, and to preserve him for us and to preserve all our Shyookh for us.
