entertainment , qur'aan

I went to a so called 'Islamic' website. On the website it listed a couple of items under the title of entertainment including :

-al quran recitation
-piano and instrumental

etc

I felt that this is very not right but want to hear the opinions of other members of the multaqo first.

I am not sure what exactly you want us to comment on!

If you are referring to the point that Quran Recitation is put under the category of entertainment then it depends on how you define the word entertainment.

If they used it as a word that refers to comfort or relaxation then it is fine as it is rooted in Quran and Sunnah in such sense. However, from knowing that they put Quran and piano under same cateogry it shows that what they meant is beyond what we said therefore it is something unacceptable . Anyway, Quran was not revealed to entertain but to be implemented so using the word "entertainment" is wrong.
