Default Mention of 1 lakh twenty-four thousand Prophets?

As-salam-o-alikum W,R,W,B.

I didnot know under what forum it would be apporiate to ask this question.I hope i have found the right one.I wanted to ask where in Quran and hadith it is mentioned that there were 1 lakh 24 thousand Prophets(A.S) Could someone please mention the book and exact quote.

I read a while ago on islamqa that this hadith is not sahih. I can't find the question at the moment but I'm sure others can help, insha'Allah

Lol Thanks for replying.Yea i forgot most people here have Arabic as their first language not Urdu.But they are in Arabic could they be in English?
